Yuttana has joined as a member of Photonics Technology Laboratory at the National Electronics and Computer Technology Center in Thailand (NECTEC), National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA) since completing a B.Sc. degree in Applied Physics (2007) from King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL). He has started working as an assistant researcher, where the research and development in the field of optics and photonics were carried on. During a working period, he also joined the College of Nanotechnology, KMITL, and received an M.Sc. degree in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology in 2013, respectively. In 2014, he was awarded the Royal Thai Government Scholarship to study oversea. He joined Heriot-Watt University (HWU) and University of St Andrews in the UK to study an M.Sc. degree in Photonics and Optoelectronic Devices and completed in 2018. Since then, he joined the Experimental Nanophotonics group under the supervision of Dr Chen at HWU. In 2022, he was awarded a PhD in Physics for working in nanophotonics to develop novel optical devices with metasurfaces. Presently, he is a researcher at NECTEC/NSTDA and driving the photonics technology to solve technical issues in Thailand.
